Servers and Locations

ZenMate offers 175+ servers located in 97+ countries. This is too low a number of servers, and they are located in the developed countries. Therefore this VPN provides speeds, that are less than other VPNs.

This number of servers means low download/upload speeds for Europe and USA, the Asia Pacific countries have no great speeds.

Speed Test

In general, any VPN decreases download or upload speed, but a bigger number of uniformly located servers eliminates a significant decrease in speed. But only Europe can take advantage of this advantage since the maximum number of servers is located here.

Ping time out

Choosing a VPN provider for gaming is very difficult. Since in everyday use of a VPN service, you do not need to have dedicated features. However, for online games, you must be extremely careful. This is exactly the case where your expectations from a VPN service should not only meet, but also exceed it.

DNS Leak Test

Hacking attempts have gotten smarter given the increased use of dial-up Internet connections. The presence of a public Wi-Fi connection has also led to serious vulnerabilities in the connections offered by Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Moreover, with the growing number of cyber attacks and ransomware attacks on personal computers and corporate networks, the privacy and security of data stored in cyberspace is being questioned.

Now hackers and cyberattacks don’t need access to your system; all they have to do is hack into your internet network and redirect you to malicious websites to infect your system and all your browsing activity. One such attack is DNS penetration, also known as DNS leak.

Torrenting

Torrents are a unique solution found by the millennial generation and scaled to almost all ages. This turned out to be convenient because you get both completely fresh books, films, music or software, and materials that were published decades ago, which can no longer be found either in a digital or in a regular store.

But, having become every day, albeit, with some legal reservations, torrents have not ceased to be fraught with several not entirely obvious dangers. The first piece of advice given by cybersecurity experts is to make sure you protect yourself when torrenting with a VPN.
