DNS Leak Test
When you surf the Internet, your operating system sends a DNS query to retrieve the IP address associated with the required domain. ISPs can then record every DNS request that comes from your operating system in order to then get your detailed online browsing history. With a VPN, every DNS request will come from your VPN provider’s server, not from your ISP’s server, keeping your personal information safe. DNS leaks can occur when your conversion requests come from your personal DNS server instead of your VPN provider’s DNS server. When such a leak occurs, your browsing history is exposed, as is your IP address and the location of your ISP.
